About the Tree
The New York Stock Exchange tree stands on Broad Street in front of the Exchange’s Neoclassical facade, with its six huge Corinthian columns and sculpted pediment. The tradition began in 1923, making it older than the Rockefeller Center tree, and the Exchange decorates its facade with an American flag and holiday lights throughout the season.
