About LeFrak Center
The LeFrak Center at Lakeside opened in 2013 in the southeast corner of Prospect Park, the 526-acre park designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, who also designed Central Park. Its two rinks, one covered and one open-air, are set beside the park’s lake, and in summer they become roller skating rinks and a splash pad.
