Morristown’s historic Green becomes a holiday village each December. The Christmas Festival at the Morristown Green kicks off with Santa’s arrival and the lighting of the Green, then runs family activities every Friday to Sunday until the weekend before Christmas.
In 2025 the kickoff was Saturday, Nov 29 at 5 p.m. and activities ran through Dec 21. Expect a kickoff on Saturday, November 28, 2026 with weekend events through December 20 (confirm at morristown-nj.org).

What to Expect
The kickoff features carolers, an ice sculpture demonstration and free cookies, cocoa and cider. Through December there are visits to Santa’s house, crafts, live music and mini train rides on the Green.

About Morristown
